Sailing Rally (Kalamış - Dragos - Kalamış)

In order to visualize the Sailing Sport to the crowd of people standing on Kalamis Bay, Fenerbahçe, Suadiye, Küçükyalı, Maltepe, Dragos and to increase their interest to sailing , there had been a sailing rally with the organization of İstanbul City Sail Representative and the contribution of Istanbul Sailing club and Marina Dragos Sailing Club on Agust 10^th. Also one of the aims of this rally was for the commemorance of the deceased Sailor friends and elder ones.

With the participation of 35 boats and 46 sailors in the class of Laser, Europe, Finn, 420, 470, Pirat, the Rally started at noon from Kalamis bay and Dereagzi, Moda, Fenerbahce, Dalyan, Marmara Sailing Club, Suadiye, Bostanci,Kucukyali, Sureyyapasa, Maltepe and Dragos in turn in order. In the opposite of Marina Dragos Sailing Club the luch was taken, and after lunch all of them turned to the Kalamis Bay route.

With the joining of the Amateur yachts to the fleet, the panorama was excellent and the day was more meaningful. The sailors waved to the crowd standing in the shore.
 

In the same evening the medals and the certificates were given to the participants, the supporters and  to the special category holders like the twins, the oldest, the youngest ones in the garden of Istanbul Sailing club.
