Kalamis Sailing Club 51.Year Celebration Race

October 24, 2005 - Kalamis Sailing Club is celebration 51.Years of the club. Under this concept there was a centerboard races in Kalamis with a great wind for sailing on Sunday.

October 17, 2005 - Navy Commandership and Istanbul Sailing Club were organized 45.Year Navy Cup Races at Kalamis bay.  The weather was shower but the wind was so good for that great organization.

Pirat European Championship 2005, Cesme, Race Story and Results

October 03, 2005 -  This year in Cesme there was one of the biggest pirat races activity which is European Championship. 59 pirat team joined the race. Championship has been held in a small bay of Cesme, Ilica. Pirat boats were like Formula 1 cars with the special sailing equipments.

October 03, 2005 - Turkey Pirat Championship, which organized by open, has been held in Cesme with the hosting of Cesme Sailing Club. Totally 10 Turkish Pirat team attented the races while 7 European Counries team attending to the race.

June 20, 2005 -  This year, first time a big race organized by Istanbul Sailing club, Golden Axe Race, took place in a route, which is 18 mile. Boats sails along this route and whole city sailing club have been pasted  through along the coast. Award ceremony will take place on June, 26 at 19.30 in Istanbul Sailing Club.

May 09, 2005 -  Kartal Municipality has sponsored and Marina Dragos Sailing Club organized a great race on a sunny Sunday. Wind was so great and route has been completed in a short period by the pirat sailors. Just for this race a private view point had been builted by Kartal Municipality for spectators.

October 11, 2004 -  There was 2 -4  beafort wind in the Navy Cup. Big waves were in the sea so sailors were work very hard to aim to goal. Route was in the Fenerbahce bay and race started with stern route. Results will be published in soon.

August 31, 2004- With Marmara Sailing Club hosting and Sailing Representative of Istanbul organization the races ended. Along 3 days pirat competitors raced against each other and weather conditions. Musfafa Unel - Ferruh Yegani team won the first place. With the same points and degree Mumtaz Unel - Burcin Aytunc became second place because of the last race results.

3rd of March  2003 -- Before the race, all of the Pirat participants met in Istanbul Sailing Club and talked about our organization. Mumtaz Unel has explained his ideas about our organization and roadmap to the 30 Pirat racers on the meeting. We shared our expectations, goals and projects.
